The Stem Cells Preparation Unit

The Stem Cells Preparation Unit (S.P.U) of Farabi Hospital with an area of 520 m² contains cleanroom with classes 10,100 Specific, 1000, 10000 and three specialized laboratories with cellular and molecular approaches, which include genetics and ophthalmic genetics lab, chemistry lab , and animals lab ,IT team.This unit has been designed and built science 2007 by the efforts of Dr. Mahmoud Jabbarvand, the hospital president and Dr.Ahad Khoshzaban , the head of the unit andaccomplished in the November, 2009 and is one of the most unique stem cells preparation units in the Middle East. The unit aids the Islamic Republic of Iran in promoting the scientific level of Farabi Hospital and Tehran University of Medical Sciences by utilizing experts, advanced equipments to separate stem cells,........................
